Woman dies from injuries two weeks after crash with truck

The woman died from her injuries last night.

A WOMAN HAS died from her injuries after a two vehicle collision in Longford earlier this month.

The woman was involved in a crash with a truck at about 4.45 pm on the evening of Monday 12 September.

She was travelling in the car with two children when her vehicle was involved in the collision with the truck at Minard, Co Longford.

The woman received serious injuries in the crash. Gardaí said that she died last night as a result of these injuries.

The two children received minor injuries in the collision and the truck driver was uninjured.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information is asked to contact them at Longford Garda Station on 043 50570, The Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666111 or any Garda station.
